Authentic Jamaican Food in Harrisburg

PepperPot717 brings real Jamaican cooking to Harrisburg—made by Jamaicans and built on recipes that never cut corners. At our Union Deposit Road location, every dish reflects the traditions, flavors, and hospitality that inspired our story.

An Unlikely Spot for the Real Thing

You might not expect to find some of Central Pennsylvania's most authentic Jamaican food in a shopping center on Union Deposit Road. But that's exactly where PepperPot717 built its reputation. What started with homemade recipes and authentic island cooking has grown into a welcoming spot where guests keep coming back for the real taste of Jamaica.

Recipes in Their Bones

The cooks here grew up with Jamaican food as daily life — not inspiration. They know exactly what this food is supposed to taste like.

A Cuisine of Patience

Meats marinate for hours in hand-blended spice pastes. Stews build slow and deep. Rice and peas simmer in coconut milk until every grain carries the flavor.

The Regulars Know Their Order

Yellow and green walls, wooden floors, an unhurried pace — or grab it to go. Either way, the crowd is devoted: military families, health-conscious diners, and the local Jamaican diaspora.

Beyond the Four Walls

PepperPot brings authentic Jamaican food to events and gatherings across Central Pennsylvania. Whether you're planning a family celebration, corporate event, or special occasion, let us bring the bold flavors of the Caribbean straight to your table.
